Are you taking the High road?

I had a dream, the meaning of which is this:
If you were to step into your future, years ahead, what would you see? People who's lives have been transformed due to your obedience to God? Or people who think Christianity is a joke because they grew up watching you be a Pharisee or a hypocrite? Are you taking the low road and portraying yourself as a Christian while sleeping with the enemy or allowing bitterness or self-righteousness to blind you to the damage it's doing? Or are you taking the High road and doing everything Father wants you to do with a clear conscience and a zealousness to avoid all of the enemy's sly traps? If your children's -grandchildren's, niece's, nephew's, etc.- relationship with the Lord and eternity's location were based solely on your representation of Christ, which road are you taking them down?

You din't miss anything... I remember very little of the dream so I din't post it. What I do remember was sitting on a bench with someone I knew with a call from God on her life and a few other ladies who were thanking her for being the influence that led them to Christ. She felt like God had not really been able to use her much. Then she had a 'time travel' type experience that was an alternate version of her life... as a hypocrite. Acting like and looking like a Christian but doing things she and everyone else knew were wrong. When we had come back to the current reality of her life, I pointed out to her that the woman sitting on the bench beside us was her granddaughter, who would have missed a relatonship with God if she had not lived as a witness for the Lord.
There was a lot more detail to the dream, but the whole thing seemed to be more an illustration used to make clear the message that God wanted me to understand than a dream with another meaning.
It was one of those dreams you just don't wanna miss!

Well said!! My prayer is to live in His will and not my own! Sometimes it's difficult but prayer helps :) Thanks for this.
